What do people think of the variation for VAR used in the Women's World cup, where the ref speaks out the decision after review?

It's nice to hear the reasoning
I think we need a meme only day for this community. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy them but I feel it detracts from better discussion.
I would rather the mods make a separate sub for memes, /c/footballMemes, whatever, it's okay now but once the community starts growing it will be absolute cancer.
/r/reddevils had a "off day for mods" aka post any meme you want and it was filled was absolute bottom of the barrel shitposts
Some petty fucker downvoted both the Argentina goals I posted. Can't blame them tbh, I've done the same myself.
Apparently Lemmy has been marking all my posts as English, even when they're not 😭 my sincerest apologies
It especially sucks because if you mark your post as a certain language, for some incomprehensible reason nobody is allowed to reply in a different language. And if someone creates a post in a certain language, no replies are allowed at all in a different language.
It does that? Ah fuck, guess I'll just mark all of them as Undetermined then. One of my favourite things about r/soccer is seeing users from the same country segue off into their own language, it reminds me how international football is.
Not a fan actually.
