Wouldn't it be nice to be able to migrate your data as well when you need/want to move to new servers in the #fediverse? @[email protected] is leading a lot of work creating a spec towards that: https://swicg.github.io/activitypub-data-portability/lola.html

Part of the reason I run my own instance is because of that - I want to own my own data and make sure I don't lose it.

I was very impressed with the threat modeling
