So far the android lemmy app I've found is massively better than the garbage reddit app.
Hey, very nice! Which one are you using? We're working on an "Apes guide to Lemmy" and we'll want to include some app recommendations.
I'm using Connect. It was the highest-rated one, and so far I'm quite happy with it. Very comparable to 'rif is fun' before reddit went and fucked everything. Haven't tried any of the other apps yet though.

Haven't tried any mobile apps yet. "Boost" will be available soon. Apparently it was quite popular for reddit before the purge. I had no idea 3rd party reddit apps existed so I've endure the absolute shite that is the official reddit app...
Yeah, it feels somewhat familiar. Some things will need some getting used to, though.

I too am a refugee! I couldn't stand the censorship. I think it was Gary Gensler being censored that was my final straw... he's a public official... if he's saying Book is the way then we should at least be able to talk about that.
