Yeah - I just came across that article. Thatβs a pretty serious fuckup, considering both of the systems are supposed to have IFF systems that absolutely can talk to each other.
FF has not been given as a cause for the crash AFAIK. Source?
My local radio station claimed that a Parliament member of Ukraine gave friendly fire as a reason.
It's not confirmed by any military source yet though.
