On Instagram White wrote: “Don’t even think about using my music you fascists. Law suit coming from my lawyers about this (to add to your 5 thousand others.) Have a great day at work today Margo Martin.’

Glad he's not shying away from calling them what they are. Jack White is a national treasure.

Jack white is the real deal. Have you heard his new album?

[–] Zombiepirate 3 points 6 months ago (1 children)

No, I should check it out though. Thanks for the heads up!

It’s called ‘no name’ - seems to be on the ol’ streaming now actually. Initially it was only available as vinyl rips on youtuub bc he was giving it away free at his record stores apparently.

Yeah, I gave it a listen. It's really good!

It’s great isn’t it - I love track 5 (archbishop harold Holmes) instant classic imo

Yeah, that one stood out for sure.

At this point I think the RIAA needs to go after Trump for unauthorized rebroadcasting or something. They were going after grandmas for downloading music. This is way worse.

Laws are for the commoners. Not the plutocrats.

That doesn't mean we should lay down and accept constant abortions of justice.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

That's why you should break every law you can (while not creating any victims or getting caught, of course).

That's the wrong takeaway.

The correct takeaway is HOLD THE FUCKS ACCOUNTABLE.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 6 months ago

More likely to collect from grandmas.

LOL, yet another for the ever-increasing list.

(This is my second identical comment in less than a day, BTW -- the previous one was about ABBA.)
