📡📸🔥Satellite images show the spread of fire across the territory of the Rosrezerv oil depot near the Astakhov farm in the Rostov region

A new photo taken yesterday, but several hours after the previous one, shows that the fire had already spread to a third fuel tank on Wednesday. Eyewitness videos and data from NASA's FIRMS system, which tracks fires on the Earth's surface, show that the oil depot continues to burn on Thursday. Local Telegram channels write that firefighters do not have enough special devices to extinguish the fire, which supply foam to neutralize burning fuel.

Let us recall that the Atlas plant of Rosrezerv in the Kamensky district of the Rostov region has been attacked by drones for the second time: before that, a drone attacked it on August 3, but the fire was quickly extinguished. As Radio Liberty found out then, in 2020, a demonstration training session "on the release of petroleum products for the needs of the army" was held at the facility as part of the Kavkaz military exercises.

Along with the oil depot near the Astakhov farm, another Rosrezerv oil depot in the Rostov region, near Proletarsk, continued to burn for at least the 11th day in a row. Today, NASA satellites no longer record fire there, but local authorities have not reported that the fire has been extinguished.
