With everything that is going on I wouldn't be surprised if ricciardo is in the red bull this season already...
You'd be excused for thinking Checo is intentionally trying to get out of his contract.

Crashed and damaged the car pretty badly, on his first outlap.

Wasnt there a moment towards the start of the season when Max got selfish on giving a place to checo he should have - I felt that from that moment it was made clear to checo he wasnโt important to the team and heโs probably looking to leave.

Yep. Max said that if Checo wanted the place he can race for it. Max was my favourite driver on the grid up until he pulled that fuckery. Now it's either Ricciardo or Tsunoda.
Lol took u a while....I really want to like Max as he is an amazing driver with insane skill that I respect...but as a person he just seems terrible when competing... Which seems unnecessary with amount of skill he got....
Idk man... Looks like after getting beaten without a safety car or red flag in Miami, he is trying to fight max but just can't. I mean after Miami he kept crashing etc. But yeah currently it wouldn't shock anyone if Ricciardo is back at red bull before the end of the season, maybe Yuki if he outperforms Ricciardo.
That's definitely not how he should be spending free practice.
I'm incredibly excited to see danny ric on the track again, I hope his fp shows some results already today.
Nice graphic, I do wonder how they measure some of these things or if they're just semi-made-up stats? I feel Traction, Grip and Abrasion go hand in hand?
Pirelliโs website says theyโve done 10,000 hours of testing, 5,000 hours of simulation, and 20,000 kilometers of testing by the teams
so likely a formula (heh) based on all those points, plus laser scans of the track to measure surface abrasiveness, etc
To borrow a Brundle-ism, if Checo didnโt have bad luck heโd have no luck at all
To Checoโs defense: having Max as your team mate makes your drive on the edge at all times. To use a poker analogy you have to go โall inโ every single time you are in the car. This creates frequent mistakes such as this one.
I love Checo. Hope he recovers mentally quickly.
So, what's going on this weekned? I didn't watch FP1, got up to watch FP2 and first thing I see is that Perez crashed on FP1 but what about Max and Lewis? Why they don't have a time in FP1? Then a few minutes into the broadcast, FP2 already started and I see Max on the pitwall like WTF? Why is he not on the track practicing? Someone care to explain what's going on? Thanks!
Its just never ending for him. The questions must be driving him insane too.
