The way I understood it, this only applies to the ActivityPub-powered network called the #Fediverse (mycelium network).
I can get behind it as long as it stays #ActivityPub only.
Meta can get fucked.
⁂ It’s an asterism, a typographical character that can be copied and pasted like any other letter. The post mentions that it can represent a group of stars in a constellation. It’s not bad for what it is and the functionality it provides.
I think the pentagram could easily be adapted as a character or as an emoji. Meta's is boring, but it's at least decent graphic design. Meanwhile the three stars just feels kinda unimaginative, I'm really not a fan.
