Since when do conservatives want people educated?

Every single conservative government cuts spending on public education.

"We are putting parents on notice," then-California attorney general Kamala Harris warned at her 2011 inauguration. "If you fail in your responsibility to your kids, we are going to work to make sure you face the full force and consequences of the law."

Oh no she wants to protect children. I can see why the republicans are upset.

Lol shit like this makes wanna vote for her even more. God bless Kamala and Tim. Harris/Walz 2024!

A kid receiving medical treatment and the parent arrested makes you want to vote for Harris/Walz? Would you rather the child did not receive medical care?

She wasn't receiving treatment, she was just keeping her child home. You know what would've prevented this whole ordeal? Her taking the child to a doctor and getting a note from said doctor to provide to the school administration.

Read the huffpost article cited in the article.

Shayla frequently missed school because she was in too much pain to leave the house or was hospitalized for long-term care. Her school was aware of these circumstances; it had records on file from the regional children’s hospital explaining that Shayla’s condition would necessitate unpredictable absences and special educational accommodations.

So, do you think a note would have worked when the school had notes?

In that case, according to the same article, the blame falls on the school, and Tony Rackauckus (district attorney during People's arrest).

Would you rather I vote a geriatric convicted felon in? Fuck that.

Edit grammar

@DarkDecay @wintermute_oregon Y'all really thought those trumped up convictions would be the silver bullet huh? That if you got him convicted that all his support would go away?

Lollllllll

[–] DarkDecay 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

All his support is failing champ. He's done, blue wave incoming. Harris/Walz 2024. You'll see. Then you can play dress up and try to storm the capital again

@DarkDecay "Trust the polls, the wave is coming" is what they told Republicans in 2022. I ain't buyin' it.
