imo: Steelers are just leverage for Aiyuk to get paid, not a chance he leaves the 49ers to play with Wilson or Fields.

I don't necessarily think he doesn't get traded, but I do agree Steelers are leverage for Aiyuk. I guess it just depends on if the trade parameters are near what Aiyuk is asking for; if not, it actively hurts him, cause there is another team now supporting a lesser deal. At that point, though, I have to imagine he stays with the 9ers anyway. I wouldn't be in a hurry to join the Steelers over the 9ers.

There's always a chance with these cases. But I don't think the Steelers are that bad. They already had a pretty decent roster last year which they manage upgrade in important places (Patrick Queen for example) and don't forget that Tomlin is universally liked between players. Even with everyone putting them 4th in the AFC North, they still have a pull.
