This feels like a "technically correct" statement, given that (a) most subs have more than one moderator and (b) one moderator sets the flag to make ("leads") a sub private. He's having quite the Principal Skinner moment.

MODERATORS
It states "to allow ordinary users to vote moderators out more easily"
Wouldn't it be funny if the mods keeping the subreddits open would get kicked out by their users and mods that keep it private will stay moderators.
Remember, he's not talking to us, he's talking to the board and shareholders.
