I'm not sure about that as I don't get it. Where is the joke? I just know that pho is a very popular Vietnamese noodle soup.

Pho is pronounced “fuh”

Pho king sounds like fucking

So it would read "FUCKING VIETNAMESE FUSION"

Got it, thank you! I'm not native English and read it like "poh". Like "poking".

This reminds me of a shop I've once saw in Thailand. Apparently there is a common name called "Phorn", sometimes spelled without the "h". You see where this is going. Strolling through the streets of Bangkok I found a shop called "Porn Wedding Photography".

Pho Q would be another great name for a restaurant.

"Hey want to go on a date with me?

"Yeah sure what do you have in mind?"

"How about Pho King?"

"....."

My life's dream is to open a Final Fantasy-themed Vietnamese restaurant in central Arizona one day.

I'm gonna call it "Pho Enix".

Not sure where to open it though. I'm thinking Scottsdale.

Oh, that would be badass!

What do you need to do to make this a reality?

[–] radicalautonomy 1 points 3 months ago

Lol, not really. Is joke. Because "Pho Enix" looks like "Phoenix" which is the largest city in (and capital of) Arizona.

I'm sure the Vietnamese are fucking with us. My favourite is the Dai Phat Supermarket near where I live.
