How does this address the problem of drug use? Sounds like all this is going to do is give people longer sentences when they inevitably break this law.

Thought it was pretty well known that just giving harsher sentences doesn't really change the (re)offense rate.

It doesn't do shit. This is merely something that will make it seem like Davison is doing something. All this is going to do is fuck things up for people who need help.

Great idea. Ban people from going to the areas that have resources for addiction. Real big brain move. Also, does this mean people can't get to their job if it is in one of the areas?

I'm wondering how exactly it will be enforced. Not only that, but it looks like it would just shuffle these people to other areas of the city.
