“It’s structured like a Silicon Valley technology company, because that's how I know how to structure companies.

It worked well the first two times, so hopefully the third time as well.

It's a very flat hierarchy.

It's installed in fairly densely packed cubes.

We have a fairly small engineering team, but they're really, really top engineers in their field.

And we have what I call a high signal-to-noise ratio, where signal is engineering and management is noise.

And I think a lot of big aerospace companies have a very bad signal-to-noise ratio.”
