Good morning all! New Month!!

We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we’re here together!

Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.

Maybe you’re new to c/stop drinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.

It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol! We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we’re here together!

Starting again today... So Day one it is.

I'm starting the "Alcohol experiment" from Annie Grace today and try to convince my subconscious with self suggestion to make it know that:

Soberness is a super power

Keep trying. You can do it.

This is day 4 for me after 3 months straight and then a slight hiccup and 2 more months before that. You cant fail if you don’t give up and those 5 months of not drinking were amazing for me. My liver enzymes, cholesterol, and other markers all went back to normal during then. Work productivity improved, depression and anxiety decreased, relationship with friends and wife got better, bank account went up much faster…. having a drink when you’re trying to stay sober doesn’t erase all the progress you made before, just make sure you come back and hang with us ;)
