250 is way to low. Heck for shooting sports that'd mean you bought a safe and nothing else gun related for a few years.

A gun safe for $250? What is this, a safe for ants?! $250 is just a couple trips to the range.
Yup, $250 might get you an AR15 lower + parts kit on sale from PSA. Still need the upper and magazines, ammo, etc.
In the NV world? Better off saving up a bit more lol
$2500 is a more realistic amount.
