Going into quick settings or full settings from search result menu, I disable AI in Search Results. It goes away.

Opening Firefox again and searching it turns back on.

How can this be disabled in Brave permanently? Not only do I want to not wait for AI, it's trash to begin with.

TIA

What? AI search in Firefox? Haven't seen it, tho I have a custom search engine.

How is the setting in brave related to Firefox?

This isn't a Firefox issue.

I don't use Brave search, but usually search engine preferences are stored in a local cookie. Are you deleting cookies on quit by any chance?

Computer(likely no AI in your hardware) -> OS (likely no AI here (yet?)) -> browser (you've disabled this AI tool) -> website you're visiting (definitely AI in here)

You're visiting websites that use some AI api.

Don't visit those websites.
