True but encouraging law enforcement with an actual college education is definitely a step in the right direction

is that somehow going to get rid of the cult-like behavior that takes critical thinking and turns it to mush? (Google Cop Gans LAPD) Also, police recruitment around the nation is thankfully finally going down after 2020 and people understand that police = murder goon squad and if you actually want to do something to help people there is a plethora of other jobs that do what police are propagandized as. This is no different then when they send the army recruitment to low income schools in poor areas and promise them riches for their lives and mental health. If it seems like it's all you got, it's a good way to force people to do shit they wouldn't want to do. The other shit is great, just get the fucking cop crap out of it.

apart from construction, the rest are thankless jobs. idk what forestry means but ok. construction at least pays well.
