Why not lean into the green in the Lemmy.world logo and use that for an upvote? I know colorblind people would struggle with green and red, but surely the up vs. down nature of the arrows means that doesn't matter

I'm partially color blind, but it's less about green vs. red and "default grey vs. whatever the actioned color is". As long as the color is visually contrasting the default grey color, green/red aren't an issue. The red is slightly better contrasting vs. that grey default, on down votes, at least.
Let us have an option for upvoted posts to vanish too. I hate having stuff i've seen hanging around.
The "show viewed posts" setting controls voted ones too.
Where might this be sorry? Check on the right, and in the cogs settings but nothing of note in there.
Settings > "Show Read Posts"
Uncheck that
I donβt have that in my settings. Iβm on the kbin website (no idea if this post is from Lemmy or whatever else lol)
This is on Lemmy.world, speciicarly.
It sure does not. Not for me, anyway. I still see upvoted posts.
Or maybe the server isnβt registering my upvotes?
You have to refresh to "hide" the upvoted ones. I think Lemmy at scale is having issues with voting in general, at least across federated instances, so that might also be a factor.
Yes please! Iβm not visually challenged, and I can barely tell the differences.
I didn't even notice that upvotes and downvotes have different colors
