Hello all. I'm looking for an electrical apprenticeship or anything related around the electrical industry such as HVAC. I'm based in New Zealand.

To electrical employers, how would criminal convictions affect whether you would hire someone or not? I'm currently going through home detention and have completed a electrical pre-trade. Would you prefer a disclosure in the cover letter, during the interview or only if you brought it up?

Any advice would be appreciated.
