Playing Atlas for 2 days, connected an ethernet cable and 2nd screen and now my game won't load.

In fact, NO steam games will go past the loading screen. I've reinstalled Steam, verified game files, updated drivers, and done everything else the internet is suggesting... nothing works, and I am at a loss. The game I was playing when this occurred was Atlas... As I stated, everything was working fine until I tried the ethernet cable and new screen.
