The date given for a Mail In Rebate is the date the item must be purchased by. It must be postmarked (basically stamped / mailed by Canada Post) within ~30 days[1] from the purchase date.

Canada computers is 100% a legitimate site, and they also have brick and mortar stores all over. I'm in Ontario, and there's one about a 30 minute drive from me. I've used their website before to order things in, then go pick them up.
