There's feral flocks of them in a few parts of the Americas, and they're native somewhere. There was a peahen in the Florida suburbs I grew up in that thought she was a turkey and joined a turkey flock, and friends in Orlando had a whole flock of peafowl in their neighborhood that were beautiful terrors who would scream and poop everywhere.
