Definitely! Just currently trying to save more $$ and space for more yarn, and I kinda actually enjoy the hand-winding,

Aww thanks! It’s definitely the most cuddly! I didn’t originally buy this Squishmallow with this purpose in mind, but it turns other wings work well for holding the yarn in place. I’m definitely preferring this to using the legs of an upside-down chair or two glasses on a table (other makeshift swift replacements I’ve heard of) for sure.

Hahaha, no, just a low-budget way to wind hanks of yarn into cakes using a toilet paper roll!
