First Lemmy post. Let’s see how this goes..!

I got some 5050 and 3535 pink emitters from KD

They’re looking like they will be fun to work with..!

Sorry for the dirty emitter. I didn’t give it a clean up after the reflow.

Looks good, I found that pink gives a little bit of fluorescence vibe like UV when you shine it on colourful objects.

And it looks like everybody's photos are in the wrong orientation. About half the photos in my last post (my first Lemmy post) were anyway.

There’s certainly a learning curve..!

I’m curious to get this in a host and would love to be able to take photometry readings on this guy.

I want one of these pink emitters. I thought when we saw the first few they would kind of fizzle out of popularity but man it looks good. Probably the most compelling color I have seen besides blue.

recon you should get one in an m150 or something.

I’ve got 5 5050 and 20 3535. I’m more than happy to send you some at cost if you’re interested. I've also got a big 9090 sized blue emitter that I don't think I'm going to use if you're interested.

I'd be interested in that 9090 blue of you don't end up using it. Is that a 12v 12 die like the others?

Nominal 8-10V, 2100ma, 3S3P 9090 format. 455nm.

I was thinking just the MCPCB to throw into an L2 using 4x 26350s and a buck driver, tho they configure the Buck to either 6 volts or 12 volts, would 12v work? would the LED limit the voltage more or less?

You’d do best to have a driver that controls current within the stated voltage range.

In that little light I’m using a 12V boost, but it controls low enough to regulate at the low end.

Yeah...I will take you up on a 3535 pink!
