As someone who underwent ketamine therapy for several months and saw a lasting effect I would say absolutely, 100%. Not only did it eliminate my trauma triggers for a long time after, it also provided a safe time and space that I could use to explore my inner intricacies and memories in a way that was supportive of healing. I was (and always have been) in a place where I didn't feel safe anywhere or anytime, save for that hour when I was hooked up to the IV and in my own inner world. It was like dreaming but more coherent and clear. And to me that was extremely valuable.
