I don't know why people want to treat this as a binary thing...
You don't just wake up and it happened overnight, and it's not some disease you can avoid through sheer luck.
If you're lucky enough to live into your 70s, this stuff will start happening.
It's an inevitability.
There are things to do to mitigate it, but brains just didn't evolve to keep working well decades after our bodies stop. It's still going to happen
