Not as "flashy" as the posts with like fancy flashlights knives and fun pens, but this seems like a genuinely super useful set of items for day to day items- great edc!

I'd love to see the rei bag, I adore cross body bags regardless of whether I'm presenting more masc or femme. Also love rei lol, co-ops are great and the folks there are always lovely

Thank you! I am always curious about what other people have in their bags and pockets. REI is the best!! Unfortunately I got my bag over a decade ago at a thrift store, but I did find a similar one on poshmark. Mine is an earlier iteration of this one with a stitched logo, but everything else looks the same. It's indestructable, the only wear is the coating on the innermost pocket is beginning to peel, and the printed design on the front has faded off.

I mostly just meant a picture, but a link for folks who might want one is even better! Its a great looking bag, seems super versatile- I'm glad you've found something that serves you well 😊

Thanks! What's your 'old faithful' bag, if you have one?

I wish a men’s satchel was more common place. (at least where I am) so much more space to carry practical items.

Have you ever used the needle and thread? It seems useful, but I’ve never had that situation.

I hope you feel up to rocking that satchel sometime! It's unfair that a lot of masc folks can feel limited in how they dress/accessorize.

Yes, the needle and thread has come in handy twice, once a button popped off, and a friend's skirt seam started splitting in the back. I actually need to reload some black thread.

Believe it or not, nonlubricated condoms are a fairly useful emergency item. Mind you, we're talking something you might use once a decade, but it's kinda surprising how useful they can be in a pinch.

The problem is that finding non lubricated ones can be annoying, and lubricated ones area really only useful for one thing, so you end up with a box of the the unlubed just sitting there, doing nothing for years lol

The first obvious post by someone with a vag here and I get condom comments. Can't say I'm surprised.

Well, in all fairness, that's the first you've mentioned a vag ;)

But, until you disclosed being ace, carrying at least one condom for sexual purposes is still a good suggestion regardless of genital configuration. It isn't only the penetrating person's responsibility to ensure safer sex practices. Everyone that has a possibility of having sex should carry one unless they're totally monogamous and fluid friendly.

Let's say my and my wife weren't fluid bonded, maybe I carry one or two, and they get damaged, or I lose them. It makes sense for her the have at least one as well.

Once you said you were ace, that goes out the window except for the possibility of involuntary activity where the assailant is willing to accept one before committing the act.

But they're still useful! I carry at least one in my bag despite being totally monogamous and not using them with my wife. If nothing else, I have one available should someone else be in need of one for sexual uses, or non sexual.

Thanks so much for sharing!! ;) ;) IMO I think a much more useful and important carry everyone should have is tampons. After all, almost everyone has someone in their lives with a menstrual cycle, and menstruating happens roughly once a month. They can also be used in non-menstrual situations, such as getting badly cut, nosebleeds, or plugging other unwanted leaks. I find O.B. tampons to be the most space saving and eco friendly, as they don't have an applicator that takes up unwanted space. That does mean that you have to use your finger as an applicator, but if you also carry some wet wipes that'll take care of that issue, no problem. Make sure you carry one of each variety, as not only can each hold varying amounts of blood, but using a tampon that is too large for the amount of flow can cause toxic shock syndrome.
