I don't think the lemmy subreddit clones have the same mods as the ones on reddit - people are just firing them up.

You're best off messaging the mods of those reddit communities or finding people who wish to dedicate the time to moderating such things, supposedly Lemmy doesn't have great mod tools at the moment.
