Ok, but why? If I want news, I will look at a news site. I want tweets and videos, I almost always want content from the creators that I subscribe to.

ease of use mostly - this is 700 news sites put together, still links out to them. i’m right there with you - its not gonna solve everything obviously but makes browsing a lot of content easy and right there in a new tab. I intend to put up follow / unfollow functionality too

Interested if the content here is politics-free. I don’t wanna pay money to read about Trump, Israel, Putin or anything that gets my anxiety going.

i’m building out functionality to follow/unfollow content by tag/publisher - does get a bit overwhelming agreed

Thank you for this, nice job! I'm probably not the target audience (yet), as I mostly use the bookmark toolbar or just doomscrolling for news, but you know, life changes from time to time. If I won't have time to doomscroll anymore, it's good to know that an open-source all-in-one-place aggregator is out there. The one-time payment is also a good concept. Personally, I would pay for it when I start using it.
