That was an amazing lucky shot! Perfectly in frame, capturing the sky and the meteor and the reaction

I don't speak Portuguese, but I'm pretty sure that "que caralho e isto" means "wtf is that"

I speak Spanish (which is super close to Portuguese) and "Que carajo es eso?!?" indeed translates into "What the fuck is that?".

EDIT: So many typos

I've commented it on the other post about the same thing. But I still think it is funny.

There is an article where it looks at the earthquake pattern and correlate it to Makoto Shinkai movie, Suzume. And now this meteor lol.

(And as usual, don't take it too seriously. This is just a fun tidbit ;)

You probably watch too many Japanese cartoons

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago

Yeah, I do enjoy them more than any other cartoon. But both makoto shinkai movie (your name, and suzume) is quite famous too so that is why I think a lot of people will enjoy the reference.

I was once driving in the middle of the night in the Arizona desert and saw a meteor like this that lit up the whole sky and left an amazing metallic silvery haze that was visible for hours. Totally fucking mind-blowing - you can see it in her face here where her brain is wondering how the hell it turned as bright as daytime all the sudden? This video gives me chills thinking back on my own experience, thanks! Felt like a once in a lifetime moment, good reminder to go outside and do things.
