As an Android user, I never got to use Apollo, so I don't know if Apollo had this functionality.

Definitely one of the things I miss most about the Reddit apps I used on Android, though. Would be a nice to have if the technology is possible on a PWA.

But then how would you copy image links?

Long press image in post view, or use the share button?

Peek (preview) could be an option in settings.

Edit: or drag finger to bottom of screen while peeking (I think sync app worked like this iirc)

I can't wait until Sync for Lemmy is ready. Sync was my favorite app.
