This got me thinking about it and realizing it’s kind of odd that Civilization lets you build atomic weapons but not chemical or biological weapons. Maybe it’s in Civ 4 or Civ 6; I haven’t really played either of those.

Nope, not in those either.

I remember Pawn Stars once had someone bring in a gas mask designed for infants from that same era, and after authenticating it Rick found the concept and need for something like that so horrific that he didn’t even make an offer.

Yeah good thing we don't have folks knowingly creating conditions where parents would need to worry about the air their babies are breathing, eh?

Oh there's much closer to home issues than wildfire on certain areas. Children's IQ are dropping from 'new car smell'.

Are you positive it's not a prototype for an on-the-go BBQ for Khav Kalash?

Missing the crab juice storage box though.

Yeah I don't buy it, that's clearly a 1930's OMGWTFBBQ.

This was before the war. It's the same kind of fear marketing that sells gold and collectables on conservative TV.

And even during the war everybody just used bombs to attack cities, not gas.

At least I'm fairly certain this was the case, I've never heard about chemtrail warplanes in WW2

I was curious about this. According to Wikipedia, the Allies had stockpiles of chemical weapons but war leaders were against using them first (except Churchill, apparently) out of fear of the civilian reaction should it become known that the Allies used them first. The Allied side had them in theater, however, and there was an incident in Bari, Italy where an accidental release of mustard gas occurred after an Axis attack, leading to a number of deaths from exposure to the gas. The UK government apparently didn't admit this until the mid-1980s.

Gas be damned, I gotta get my steps in!
