No, sorry, that's bullshit.
Nobody abandoned the US during Trump's time because you don't just set aside alliances because of what should be a temporary era of stupidity.
While the scale of what Israel is doing is way worse, you still don't cut ties and violate agreements that have been in place for decades until you're certain it's both a long term change and you can't apply other pressure to intervene first.
There are obligations to the people of a country as much as there is to the government of a country. Alliances should never be broken until other efforts fail.
Now, that's aside from anything about whether or not diplomatic and other means have failed yet or not. That's a matter of opinion. But the leader of a country can't just ignore pacts at a whim. That's the entire point of such things.
