Hydrogen has been identified as a key accelerator in our fight against the detrimental impacts of climate change and as a catalyst for our efforts to decarbonize our economy. As a result, stakeholders are scrambling to build capacity as quickly as possible. In this talk, our speaker Nicolas Vad highlights the need for robust fundamental research and an objective assessment of hydrogen to ensure we do not make the same rushed mistakes as past generations and instead progress towards a sustainable future.

Can I get rooftop hydrogen?

It's possible. You can either electrolyze water at home, or eventually there will be photocatalytic systems that makes hydrogen directly.

I'm watching the systems that basically pull the water out of the air and use solar to convert it. Drop ship style systems like that could become basically the gas stations of today for tomorrows hydrogen cars.
