“As we move into that” not “If”. They aren’t looking at anything. The decision has been made, the mid-game ads are coming.

Yeah, you're right, this whole thing is bullshit. It's fucking EA being greedy again. I bet this is just so they can put ads in their damn sports games.

further reason to 🏴‍☠️or straight up not play any games from ea

I hope they have a 2 minute unskippable ad for every 10 minutes of gameplay so people finally stop buying anything they make forever.

Once again, a PiHole is essential.

If you think they’re not gonna bake them into a bi weekly 80GB mandatory update you are solely mistaken.

There will always be a way to bypass these dinos' greedy schemes. Stay true, stay informed, never surrender.

Just don't buy EA games. The last thing I bought directly from them was the Sim City "reboot" back in 2013. The last thing I bought at all was a Sims 4 DLC two years ago. I will not be going back to them, AlterLife seems to be a better project to follow, and the original Cities Skylines is a far better game than Sim City in spite of its own flaws.

“Will these ad supported games be less expensive or free?”

“….”

“With all the extra ad revenue, does that mean the games will have larger development teams and be higher quality?”

“…”

Yeah, you're preaching to the choir, we all know fat chance of any of that happening.
