The thing I'd like to see with these techniques is actual measurement of soil carbon down to a significant depth. There are a lot of claims, and measurement is something which almost never happens, which makes it very difficult to evaluate which ones are working and which ones are doing things like pulling carbon up from deeper in the ground.
