There were first reports days ago that the contract was ready to be signed. Andreas Seidl seems to want a Sainz-Hulkenberg driver pairing, mainly in order to get drivers who are good at giving feedback.

Auto Motor & Sport have been reporting Audi's desire to get Nico and Carlos since months and clearly Haas knows this for quite some time as well which is why Bearman gets so many FP1 sessions.
