Could have done without the tacky resolution they teased. Oh wow she's miraculously pregnant and they get to have two babies instead of one.

Part of why these movies never work for me that they always transition from the original theme into "getting pregnant can magically solve all your problems". Usually right about when they need to have an adult conversation and hash out solutions to their problems, the miracle baby happens and the entire tone of the movie is changed.

Is that where it is going? Hard to tell from the trailer. I honestly felt like maybe it’ll go someplace unexpectedly dark that the trailer isn’t hinting at, but we shall see. You are probably right, they tend to telegraph what is going to happen pretty exactly in trailers these days.
