It might be Yellow Chincherinchee, Ornithogalum dubium. I used iNaturalist with your photo to suggest and they look pretty similar. You can also try using Seek (an app that uses your camera to identify plants and animals) and with more angles you might get a better result.

This one has my vote also - it’s apparently endemic to South Africa! Dunno if that hits your nail on the head or not
I bought it last year and didn’t get its name. It blooms then dies, then repeats next season
