I have a livestream studio where I host bands for live performances and interviews and also run radio shows that play music from unsigned or DIY labeled bands.

We manage a playlist with over 110 bands and hit shuffle while taking requests every morning. If youā€™re a band with music you want on the playlist hmu on socials with permission to play it and Iā€™ll add it. You have to be the copyright owner to get on the list.

We do all genres but various styles of rock and alternative seem to be the most common.

Here is also a link to the playlist:

Oh dang! For years, I hosted a local music radio show. Usually having the artists in to perform live, but sometimes just playing recordings. I've had to step away some in the last few years for my own sanity.

We have a lot of great music up here in Maine and I'm always interested in hearing what is happening elsewhere. Will definitely check this out.

Thanks man! It's too bad you had to step away. We're in desperate need of MTV style shows. Corporations are basically dictating what even hears and they've moved to "safe" mode. There are few options to find groundbreaking stuff.

Thankfully, the show existed long before me and the station is committed to keeping it on air.

So it was actual radio? Thatā€™s pretty cool.

Yeah. Here's a bit of a set, I'm the awkward guy talking at the beginning.

Very cool man! Is there still a YouTube channel for the station. It seemed like most those videos were 10yrs old.

Check out our show tomorrow I have a live band called Die Tired in starting at 11am. The play hard rock grunge type music.

I got lucky to have a film student doing work study for a while, but aside from the handful he did, all other video is really from the guests themselves. But the show audio is posted online each week if you ever want to check it out - https://www.wmpg.org/show/wed1930/

Looking forward to digging into your show!

Hey! I wish I could get interns. Lol. Thanks for the link BTW. Itā€™s been a few weeks. I started a morning show since then runs form 7:30 to 8:30ish weekdays.
