Just because you used the word "succulent" when talking about the meal:
Bats
Bats are cool
Bats are the only true flying mammals. There are over 1,400 species of bats, and they can be found on nearly every part of the planet. Not only are they cute, they are also important...
Studying how bats use echolocation has helped scientists develop navigational aids for the blind. Without bats’ pollination, seed dispersal, and pest control we wouldn’t have bananas, avocados, mangoes, agave, or cacao… that’s right, bats bring us tequila and chocolate!

That’s one nasty looking critter. Is the bat worried about bites or stinging? What’s the play for predators of predators?
That’s a good question! I asked BatCon International, I’ll let you know if they answer. i know there is a giant centipede that preys on bats, but it’s bigger than the one in the picture.
I do not like it.
Lovely photo where’s it from? 🤔
It’s from Bat Conservation International’s instagram. By J Scott Altenbach. I would have credited the photographer earlier but didn’t see his name on the post initially. Their Instagram.
It’s a fucking crazy shot I wonder how he managed to catch it
