Will be running my players through the Seagrow Caves from Dragons of Stormwreck Isle this weekend.

The area is mostly Myconid themed and I was thinking of planting a magic item for them as a reward for completing the quest, but what kind of magic item would a colony of Myconids have on hand to give away?

Myconids are peaceful, and normally from the underdark. I think something that would help resolve confilict in a non-violent way, like something that could case hold person or something like that, would make sense. Or something that casts darkness, or just reduced light levels, might be something they like to have on hand.

I've always been partial to a "telepathic" comms sort of device, especially when it's given with the best of intentions and assumptions are made that such includes non-invasive transmission methods. The myconids may be peaceful and non-combative for the most part, but they're also an alien intelligence to whom many cultural norms outside the Underdark are completely foreign, and thus the ingestion of spores would never occur to them as undesirable much less offensive... ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿฟ
