Aww. I'm sure this is good (and I should probably read this book), but for a second I thought it was a reboot of the Canadian sci-fi show Dark Matter that got canceled after a cliffhanger in its last season.
Edit: Oh, this has Alica Braga in it. Definitely going to watch it. She's fantastic. If you haven't seen Queen of the South, I highly recommend it.
I got so hyped for a second. Will still probably check it out.
Dark Matter was great. I like everything I've seen with Joseph Malozzi's name on it.

Holy shit, I haven’t read the book but still thought the trailer gave away too much. Had to pause it.

Same, haven't read read the book yet and I was surprised that they immediately gave out a lot of major plot points in the trailer. I'm guessing they have more up their sleeves if they're ok with showing all of that.
