also this big lull in transfer activity is killing me, so much activity regarding the back to back to back havertz + rice + timber deals for it to go radio silent on the latter two for over a week now... I need closure!

Considering how this is far superior to the reddit experience, how do you bring more people in here? I'd have very few reasons to login to reddit every day if the active population came here.
I think part of the quietness is that we are in this waiting period before Rice and Timber are announced. There are photos of training but not a lot is going on (until the first preseason match)
There's also barely anything worth F5ing about. Just waiting for announcements at this point, unless you know enough about Brazilian football to comment on Bitello at least.

HaleEndGrad is on Lemmygrad.ml which is an actively tankie instance so that's probably why yea.
Personally, I don't care. We have a community enough and people will eventually come over as Reddit continues to fuck itself.
We all know Reddit is going to fuck itself again. We just need to build the community and support the devs as they improve the platform.
Not so sure about supporting the devs lol, they're actively tankies and vocal about it (hence why lemmygrad.ml is theirs and Lemmy.ml's "ml" stands for Marxist-Leninist)

I think of them as the "actual" far left. Rather than people who want equality and free healthcare (who often get tarred with that brush).
Tankies are a term historically used to describe people that supported the use of tanks to crush revolts in Soviet Hungary, but are now generally used to describe people who support the authleft and justify their policies, including stuff like Maoism and Stalin stuff (depends on the person of course). As someone from Hong Kong, I can definitely confirm that that isn't the way to go lol

Seems to just be those 2 servers as the tankie servers. Although Lemmy.World seems to has taken over as "the" Lemmy server now. We can always fork the software and move on past the devs if they ever become a problem in development.
I mean, even Lemmy.ml is fine mostly, they made an active choice to be more neutral on there which is why lemmygrad.ml exists. Agree on forking it if needs be though — I play modded minecraft a lot and the biggest modloader just got forked by basically all the devs cuz they were sick of the guy in charge
One of the beautiful things about open source. Lemmy is bigger than the original 2 devs. Theres so many contributors now.
Technic laucher for Minecraft was the shit, when I was playing with my friends. Minecraft comes in phases for me, I get really into it followed by a long period of not playing.
Would recommend getting back into it! Minecraft mods have come a long way since — look up anything to do with the Create mod and you'll be fucking amazed.

I'm excited for what the team looks like inverting from the right (or center?) with Timber. Zinny's not defensively sound and the option to slot in a defender more capable of handling the best wingers in the world is game-changing.
I hope Terney stays to be used for a niche like that.
Not even that much of a niche lol, I could see us switching between the two systems depending on which flank has a bigger threat — like you wouldn't want to give Mo Salah all that space from an inverted Zinchenko

If we manage to make around 100-150m from sales, why not bid for Tchouameni?
Imo we should sell him asap, the case is still hang over his head and it could impact his performance even if he's cleared (Bissouma is a good example)
