The included info is my pc specs now. I just upgraded my quest 2 to a 3 and want to give my pc an upgrade as well. When my budget is around 350-450 and I don’t mind second hand parts, what should I upgrade for the best VR experience? (For context: my pc knowledge is not very good)

CGPepper: So rx 570 is 20% slower than gtx 1060.

With that in mind, get rtx 4060, which is about 290 on tweakers pricewatch. Then cpu ryzen 7600 (200), and the cheapest am5 mobo (120), 16 gb ddr5 memory (55)

Or go second hand AM4, sometimes people sell good mobo+cpu sets, then you can fit the budget. Ex ryzen 3600 with good mobo is 150 together

CierpliwaRyjowka: GPU. Buy the best geforce you can afford (for instance 2nd hand 3070/3080).

CGPepper: 3080 with 500w psu and hungry cpu is trouble

Dutch_Psychonaut: Do I also need to upgrade my CPU?

And why geforce? Not AMD?
