I wish I had space for a simchair rig but I have to use my normal chair for my driving sims. The only catch is the wheels on my chair are extremely sensitive so when I apply any pressure on my pedals I actually roll backwards haha.

I currently just use an old rolled up towel but was looking for a more permanent solution like something I can just slide behind my chair. I've checked the manufacturer of my chair (Herman Miller) don't sell lockable casters and don't recommend 3rd party parts =\

I'd almost say it's a job for a 3D printer but I don't have one either haha. Any suggestions would be great!

Those look 3d printed. Get rubber furniture feet from the hardware store. They sell large square rubber ones to keep furniture from sliding and they're only $4.

Yeah after a deep dive I found another solution from another company. I've been wanting to get a wheel stand (just not a whole other chair) I can fold up easily and this one has a metal wheel tray.

Anyone have recommendations of the quality of ExtremeSimRacing vs Next Level Racing?

I put good 3rd party rollerblade casters on my Aeron. Works fine, fits fine, they've been on there for several years now, no problems at all. Of course they "don't recommend" them, Herman Miller makes more money if you buy theirs. That doesn't mean you can't do it anyway.

Ah yeah that's good to know. I really love the wheels that came with my Embody and wouldn't want to replace them anyway, even just switching for sim mode haha.

Weirdly Herman Miller wheels are pretty cheap like $25USD direct from them was actually surprised, they just don't sell lock ones.

Honestly the most clever solution I saw was a guy sat his chair wheels in some shoes. The soles grip good to go
