No surprise here - he kicked ass against the Blazers even if it ended in a loss. Better to protect the kid and encourage him to bulk up where he can and save him for the regular season.

I think most high level players only play 1-2 games in summer league anyway, so this isn't surprising to me at all
Glad he had a great game before being forced out.
Wouldn't be surprised if they were sitting him out BECAUSE he had a good game. They saw the reactions of the other game and decided not to risk any more bad press.
He is going to be packing arenas all year if he stays healthy. That 2nd game got the Wemby hype train off and running.
