Great to have you here! I have no idea how to actually get this setup. I know there’s a fully managed hosting provider for Mastodon, not sure if there’s something for Lemmy.
Yeah I have no clue how this works at all but I'm excited nonetheless!
https://lemmy.ml/post/13163937 - this would be gas!
Lemmy.ml mods removed your post because that community isn't supposed to be for technical/support questions. They're also super inconsistent with enforcing that rule, and I'd guess they did so in this case because they are ideologically opposed to anyone paying for anything 🙄

The folks who run the communick.news Lemmy instance also offer managed Lemmy hosting: https://communick.com/lemmy
Though I am not a customer and cannot say what their service is like.
Run by @[email protected]
Still in beta I think.
I actually do use communick hosting for my Matrix account, and it works fine.
Thanks for sharing that here!
If you ever do manage to get an Irish instance up and running, lemm.ie would be a great domain name.
I might try reserve that domain just in case .
Edit: someone has already registered the domain. whois info
Oh. Idk how domains actually work, I just randomly had that idea for a name
We would need to wait for that domain to expire or try purchase it from the owner.
