I like it. Reminds me of the Roaches in Staffordshire or Alderley Edge in Cheshire - the kind of place that attracts stories which the latter very much has.

I enjoyed a lot of Alan Garner's stories which were set around Alderley Edge.

My Mum's family are from that neck of the woods, so she was always a fan. Pity the more recent books aren't any good. 😕
